Truth and Reconciliation
At Flair, we understand that one day alone cannot address the profound and lasting impact of Canada’s residential school system. This dark chapter in our history has caused immense suffering for Indigenous Peoples, and its legacy continues to shape the country we live in today. We stand with the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation in raising awareness about this tragic past and supporting their efforts to educate all Canadians.
As an airline, we are privileged to connect communities from coast to coast, recognizing that we operate on the traditional and ancestral territories of Indigenous Peoples. We honour Indigenous nations' enduring connection to the land and are grateful for their role as caretakers for countless generations. Their rich cultures, contributions, and connections continue to shape the communities we serve today.
As we travel across the country, we recognize the ancestral and unceded lands of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples. We are committed to learning from, respecting, and honouring the Indigenous Peoples whose lands we traverse.
Together, we can learn from and honour the wisdom and spirit of Indigenous communities from coast to coast.
